Your book is indeed a good primer for any stream of career aspirant. I wish you would have this available for all students as a pre-placement guide at B schools and at other institutes who will have you. Your narrative style peppered with anecdotes and stories makes this a compelling reading.
I would like to encourage you to write the flip side of this book - where you deal with the first few days at workplace - and the challenges and triumphs - as a continuation of this first book.
You have done well with this one - and hope to see you on many more topics.

Imagine that you are a student, all excited about graduating and getting into a dream job with a large corporate and driving down a road. Suddenly, a large boulder is dropped in your path. Do you find a way around the boulder, and keep driving, or do you, figuratively, panic and get out of your car because there is an obstacle in your way? This book is intended to help young college graduates accept, and deal with, corporate life's obstacles.
Most college curriculum focuses on the theoretical aspects of management and also provides a lot of conceptual inputs. But how do you put these inputs in to practice when you are actually working? You may not be graduating from the best school, you may not be the smartest in your school, but how do you learn to make the most of your abilities, and understand the small things that you need to do to succeed in a Corporate. Out of Syllabus provides you with a number of tips and real world examples of situations faced by every young graduate, at one time or another in various phases of their corporate career.
It's short and really easy to read. Even if you can't follow all of the things mentioned here, practicing some of them will help greatly. This book does a really good job at making adjusting in to the corporate world, just a little easier.

Lack of Life skills is a glaring gap between potential and performance – and yet neither corporates nor universities have been proactive enough to prioritise and make it a part of their induction program. You have highlighted its importance in a simple yet realistic way.
I wouldn’t say this book is only for freshers – career planning and professional growth is a lifelong process – especially when so many needs, plans and situations change over time, this book would be useful for anyone taking a leap of faith midway or for those well established yet with an imbalanced lifestyle.
For those who are not fortunate enough to have a personal mentor, books like these give the guiding light. May you continue shining Rajesh.

This book actually points out to the hard facts of the professional life and explains steps for overcoming such road blocks. "Out of
syllabus" elaborates the theory about career planning and achieving success in a very simple manner with lots of real life examples to which one can easily relate. The three bucket theory is the real core of this book and will help lots of youngsters to shape their career and taste the fruit of success by simply analysing their moves according to the theory explained.
I wish this book becomes part of syllabus at every intermediate school. Thanks to Rajesh to understand the plight of Gen X and Y regarding their career and bringing out a book which definately become a guide to them.

"Out Of Syllabus" is not only apt for college students (Graduates/Post graduates) and management trainees who enter the corporate world but also to others with work experience as well.
Typically management books have a lot of gyaan where in authors talk the consultant's language. Many points get repeated often. It was not the case in this book. There were lots of anecdotes to keep it interesting. Book had loads of illustrations/examples from popular Bollywood and Tollywood movies, which make it easier for the reader to relate to.
"Wallenda factor” explained is very interesting and useful.
No HR book subscribed by any B-school talks about the way one needs to carry oneself post college.
